Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://atithiliving.com, the Atithi application and related services (the "Service"), operated by TODO: exact registered business name as printed on PAN / GST / Udyam certificate, TODO: building / street, TODO: locality, Ranchi, Jharkhand TODO: 6-digit PIN, India ("Atithi", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Atithi provides software that helps paying-guest (PG) accommodation owners manage properties, tenants, rent records, identity verification and agreements. Atithi is a technology provider. We are not a party to any tenancy, do not own or operate the listed properties (except where stated), and are not a real-estate broker.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service through a parent or lawful guardian.
- You must give accurate information and keep your login credentials and one-time passwords (OTPs) confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Owner obligations
Owners are solely responsible for their properties, rent amounts, house rules, deposits, compliance with local laws (including tenant police verification and fire and safety norms), and the accuracy of information shown to tenants.
4. Fees and payments
- Subscription fees for owners are listed on our Pricing page and are billed monthly in advance, plus applicable GST (Goods and Services Tax).
- Payments are processed by Razorpay and other RBI (Reserve Bank of India)-authorised partners under their terms. We do not store card or bank credentials.
- Rent paid by a tenant to an owner is a transaction between them. Atithi records it but does not hold those funds unless expressly stated.
- Refunds are governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not: upload false documents or impersonate anyone; use the Service for unlawful discrimination, harassment or fraud; attempt to access other users' data; reverse-engineer or overload the Service; or send spam through our messaging channels.
6. Intellectual property
The Atithi name, logo, software and content belong to TODO: exact registered business name as printed on PAN / GST / Udyam certificate. You keep ownership of the data you enter and grant us a licence to process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". Identity verification results depend on third-party and government sources, and we do not guarantee the conduct of any owner or tenant. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand have exclusive jurisdiction. Please first raise any dispute with our Grievance Officer at grievance@atithiliving.com; we aim to resolve it within 30 days.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
